Stretch X
I made it a week through the P90X program! Day 7, otherwise known as rest day for the P90X workout program. Don't take this stretching lightly, it has some moves that are very painful to beginners such as myself. The gumby lady in the DVD is ridiculous. If I were that flexible I would be on the road performing shows throughout the US for millions of dollars. I somewhat associate the Yoga X DVD and the Stretch X DVD together. Yoga X is way harder and you break a sweat trying to hold some of those poses, however, the overall meaning and purpose behind both DVD's is to increase flexibility, calm the nerves, and induce pain throughout the body.
My thoughts on Stretch X: Again, I am not a flexible person. Yoga X and Stretch X are the most discouraging of the DVD's I have completed this week. Both make me realize that my flexibility is not up to par. Stretch X seems like a vital part of the P90X program. Now, a protein shake is in order.
