P90X: Day 11

Yoga X

I actually got the right sequence of workouts so far this week. Unlike last week, the 4th day in my week consists of Yoga X. Challenging, but gentle, Difficult, but easy. Yoga is very tough, especially P90X Yoga. Today, I was not feeling up to doing Yoga, actually I had told myself that I was not going to do it, that I was going to relax and rest tonight. I pushed through the 1.5 hour Yoga session like a guy who had the use the bathroom that was across times square on new years.

My thoughts: Tonight was nice and relaxing, well as much as can be nice and relaxing. Some of the DVD is a lot harder than the rest of the Yoga X DVD. I did break a small sweat in the beginning but towards the end it all mellowed out and turned into a stretching type workout. My flexibility is getting a lot better. I can touch my toes now very easily.

Nutrition: I have been faltering a bit lately. I realized that I needed more a tad bit more carbs for energy, so while still eating healthy, I added carbs to the diet. Still have a huge intake of protein each day trying to build muscle as I do the P90X workout. Once I am done, if I get done with the first phase (30 days), I might add some creatine to the supplement list. That is still undecided.
