Shoulders and Arms with Ab Ripper X
Holy Moly, I woke up today wore out. My energy level has hit rock bottom today. Regardless, I still completed the Shoulders and Arms P90X workout. My arms are toast, burnt toast with no butter. They are like bricks! Oh snap! Surprisingly, my legs are not sore from yesterday's Plyometrics workout, but my Chest, Triceps, and Back hate me. My vertebrae are screaming ever so slightly at me from all the yoga and twisting I did this weekend. I feel stronger throughout my body. My lower back does not ache anymore after a long day at work. I just feel genuinely healthier all around. All of this and I am only a week and a half into a 13 week program. Imagine the ending... I will be able to do some ridiculous things.
Ab ripper X was brutal today. I lost steam towards the end of it. The V-up exercise killed me again, I did not get many of them. Everything else is getting a whole lot easier, which is awesome. I can actually do 40 Masion twists now.
My thoughts: I am wore out. I only used 15lb dumbbells today and trust me, that is more than adequate for a majority of the exercises. I would like to go heavier on several exercises, but most of them 15lb is just right. I noticed a serious lack of energy when I woke up this morning. I was assuming it was the low intake of carbs, so I added a few carbs for lunch and I feel a whole lot better. Still wore out, but better, I might be getting sick, like a cold.
How do you workout when you get a cold?
