Shoulders and Arms with Ab Ripper X
My arms are quivering like they were afraid of the big bad wolf aka. P90X. Welcome to not being able to lift your arms. Ok, ok... it was intense, it definitely had it's hard parts, but it was not as hard as plyometrics or chest and back.
The purpose of this workout is to target, you guessed it, the shoulder area that connects the arms to the rest of the body and the arms themselves, otherwise known as "the guns". These are the 'money' muscles that the women love. The biceps, the triceps, the front, side, and rear deltoid muscles. The more muscle you have here, the better you can hug your lady friend and give her an embrace that will imprint a lasting impression of a strong burly man in her memory.
My thoughts on Shoulders and Arms: I came into the workout knowing that I would only workout with 15 lb dumbbells, so that is what I used for the entire workout. Some moves I could have used a bit more weight, others, I probably should not have used the 15 lb dumbbells. At the end of the workout, the 15 lb dumbbells seemed like a good average for most exercises for me.
Ab Ripper X: Second day this week of Ab ripper X, it seems to be getting a bit better already. The first day was brutal. I had to sit out one or two exercises out of sheer exhaustion of my stomach muscles. Today, I made it through at least a good portion of most of the ab exercises. The V-up exercise is brutal. All I can say is that I love my yoga mat... that thing is saving my tailbone like no bodies business!
What muscle or muscle group to you think women, or men, think is the most attractive?
